Capoeira is an African- Brasilian martial art, Capoeira is a dance, attack and defense. The Capoeirista, the disciple, is the benefactor of Capoeira, African core discipline through compassion, humility, love and strength.

Capoeira , birthed in Brasil, is an example of the human desire to live above all oppression. Capoeira is various African warriors having to pool all their knowledge and merge their cultures; assimilating some European and indigenous to present day Brasil.

In this disciple-warrior life, oral history is a way of life for resistant slaves from around 450 years to the present. Capoeira masters and their disciples are an integral part of the cultures of today giving our children order, restraint, flexibility, strength, music, song and dance.

This blog is written on this great day 1/20/09 for all people on this planet earth, the day that Mr. Barack Hussein Obama
was sworn in as the president of the divided states, hoping one day to unite them and give the indigenous people of
this u.s.a. the respect they deserve. I believe in your will and wisdom mr. president to lead this country to a noble greatness.

As my two year old son would say and do with a fist in the air "President Obamaaaa"with a lasting enthusiasm.
